My name is Laurie Bailer and I am a full-time MBA student at The George Washington University (GWU), School of Business, class of 2011. For the last five years I’ve worked in both the nonprofit and small business sectors, and have witnessed a great need and opportunity to address social and environmental issues through business. This is what drove me to come back to school and specifically to GWU. At GWU’s School of Business I am working to earn a Certificate in Responsible Management in addition to my core MBA degree. I’m looking forward to sharing my experiences with you over the next two years in the program.
